In April 2014, SC Global announced plans to be the presenting sponsor of the BNP Paribas WTA Finals, the WTA’s year-end crown jewel event which will be held in Singapore from 2014-2018. This will mark the first time in the 44-year history of the Finals that an Asian- Pacific city will host this prestigious event often referred to as the fifth grand slam. Staged within the new Singapore Sports Hub, the event will be transformed into a 10-day sports and entertainment spectacle including seven days of competition with the top 8 players in the world, WTA Rising Star and Legends exhibitions as well as other carnival and entertainment activities.

The BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global has been an unprecedented success, attracting 130,000 fans from 51 countries and generating a TV and online audience of 32.5million viewers over 164 markets. Often referred to as the fifth grand slam, the 10-day sports and entertainment spectacle includes 8 days of competition with the top 8 singles and doubles players in the world, Tournament Gala Concert, WTA Rising Stars Invitational, WTA Future Stars Tournament, WTA Legends Classic, Tennis Coaching Conference, Fanzone Carnival and community activities in the lead up to the event.
